Safety guide

Read this before contacting anyone. It takes two minutes and it is the
difference between a normal booking and a problem.

Before you contact anyone

• Only use the number on the profile. If someone gives you a
  different number “because that one is not working”, stop there. That is the
  most common setup for a scam.
• Never pay in advance. No deposit, no transfer to “hold the
  time”, no gift cards. Payment is made in person, at the start of the
  meeting. Anyone who insists on paying first is not going to show up.
• Ask for a short video call. Thirty seconds is enough to
  confirm the person matches the photos. Anyone genuine will not object.
• Do not send documents or bank details. Nobody needs your ID
  to arrange a meeting.

Red flags

• Pressure to decide quickly or to pay immediately.
• Prices far below everyone else in the same area.
• A third party answering on the person’s behalf.
• Refusal to do a video call under any circumstances.
• Photos that look like stock or professional model shots.
• Any mention of a “verification fee” — we never charge one.

Health

Use protection. Colombia’s public health system provides free HIV and STI
testing at any EPS or public health centre, with no referral needed.

Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) can prevent HIV infection if started within 72
hours of exposure, and works better the sooner it is taken. It is available at
hospital emergency departments. If you think you have been exposed, go the same
day — not tomorrow.

If something goes wrong

If you suspect the person is a minor, or that someone is being coerced, report
it. In Colombia:

• 141 — ICBF, child protection line. Free, 24 hours.
• 122 — Attorney General’s Office.
• 123 — Emergencies.
• 01 8000 522 020 — Anti-trafficking line.

profile” button. Reports about minors are reviewed the same day.
