Data protection
This page explains how to exercise your rights over your personal data, under
Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013.
Your rights
-
Access. To know what data we hold about you and what we use
it for. -
Rectification. To correct anything inaccurate or
incomplete. -
Deletion. To have your data removed, unless a legal duty
requires us to keep it. -
Withdrawal of consent. At any time, without needing to give
a reason. - Copy. To obtain a copy of the data you provided.
-
Complaint. To lodge a complaint with the Superintendency of
Industry and Commerce.
How to exercise them
Write to us through the contact page stating which
right you wish to exercise. If you have a profile, you can also do most of it
from your dashboard.
Response times
- Enquiries: up to 10 business days, extendable by 5 more.
- Complaints: up to 15 business days, extendable by 8 more.
If we need an extension we tell you before the original deadline expires, with
the reason.
Deleting your profile
Deleting a profile removes the published content immediately. Verification
documents are deleted once the retention period required by law has passed;
they are not kept beyond that.
Authorisation
By registering, each advertiser authorises us to process their data for
verification and publication. That authorisation may be withdrawn at any time,
which entails closing the profile.
