Anti-trafficking policy

Escorts Col has zero tolerance for human trafficking and for the sexual
exploitation of children and adolescents. This is not a formality: it is the
line that defines whether this directory should exist at all.

What is prohibited

  • Any profile of a person under 18. No exceptions, in any circumstance.
  • Any profile managed or controlled by a third party.
  • Any sign that a person is not acting of their own free will.
  • Content that sexualises minors, in any form, real or simulated.
  • Any reference to age that suggests a minor, even as a figure of speech.

The legal framework in Colombia

  • Law 679 of 2001. Prevention and countering of sexual
    exploitation, pornography and sex tourism involving minors.
  • Law 985 of 2005. Measures against human trafficking and
    protection of victims.
  • Law 1329 of 2009. Penalties for the commercial sexual
    exploitation of children and adolescents.
  • Law 1336 of 2009. Strengthens Law 679 and imposes duties on
    online service providers.

What we do when we detect it

  1. Immediate removal. The profile comes down as soon as there
    is a credible suspicion, without waiting for confirmation.
  2. Evidence is preserved. Everything relevant is kept intact
    for the authorities. We do not delete it.
  3. Report to the authorities. To ICBF and to the Attorney
    General’s Office, with everything we hold.
  4. Permanent block. The account and its associated details are
    blocked from re-registering.
  5. Full cooperation. With any subsequent investigation.

How to report

If you suspect a minor is involved or that someone is being coerced:

  • 141 — ICBF, child protection line. Free, 24 hours.
  • 122 — Attorney General’s Office.
  • 01 8000 522 020 — National anti-trafficking line.
  • 123 — Emergencies.

You can also use the “Report profile” button on any profile page, or write to
us directly. Reports involving minors are reviewed the same day they arrive.

Reports can be anonymous. You do not need proof to report: a reasonable
suspicion is enough, and it is better to report something that turns out to be
nothing than to stay quiet about something that was real.
